Before the Spring Festival, pneumatic jacking of the first storage tank of Zhangzhou LNG project, the first “storage tank + receiving terminal" EPC project independently researched & developed, designed and undertaken by CNOOC, was completed. The arch crown of the storage tank with a total weight more than 660t was smoothly lifted to the design position 39.02m from the ground, realizing the perfect connection between arch crown and retaining ring and providing guarantee for accelerating the gas source supply by onshore pipelines in Fujian Province.

Zhangzhou LNG Project, with the site located at Xingguwan, Liuhui Village, Longjiao Village, Longhai City, Fujian Province, consists of receiving terminal work, wharf work and transmission pipeline. 2 LNG storage tanks and the supporting gasification and transmission device as well as the supporting utility system and1 LNG ship unloading berth are mainly constructed in the Phase I work.

It will greatly increase the natural gas supply capacity in the south-west Fujian Province, improve the regional energy consumption structure, promote energy conservation and emission reduction and reduce environment pollution after its commissioning.
