COOEC has taken the lead in building an intelligent manufacturing system for the construction of the topsides of offshore oil and gas production platforms in China and selected the “intelligent production line for steel structures and pipe rolling” and the “intelligent production line for deck panels” for demonstrative application in Tianjin Intelligent Manufacturing Base Yard. We have completed three automated production lines (including planar segment production line-cutting workshop, planar segment production line-welding and assembly workshop, and process piping production line), an intelligent three-dimensional warehouse, and a DIMS production control system. These technologies have been used in Bozhong 29-6 oilfield and Kenli 6-1 oilfield, indicating that COOEC has the R&D capacity for digital, information-based, and intelligent manufacturing.
COOEC has developed China’s first testing platform for simulation of offshore engineering safety operations and developed a series of key technologies for the identification of risks associated with offshore operations, modeling and real-time solution of coupled dynamic responses of offshore vessels and units, and space-time consistency of distributed simulation system; and established a technology system for simulating offshore operations, which supports the construction of the first offshore operation digital center in China and has multiple functions including the simulation, rehearsal and evaluation of typical offshore operations such as lifting, pipe laying, float-over installation, dynamic positioning and underwater installation and maintenance, collaborative training of operation teams, and personnel training. The relevant technological achievements have been used to simulate the float-over installation of platforms for Wenchang 9-2/9-3 gas fields, float-over installation of the platform for Bozhong 34-9 oilfield, lifting of compressors for Liwan 3-1 platform, float-over installation for Dongfang 13-2 gas field, construction of the single-point mooring system for Liuhua 16-2 oilfield, and towing of the semi-submersible production platform/mooring system tie-back/SCR tie-back/umbilical tie-back for “Shenhai-1” energy station.
