COOEC has overcome the technical challenges in soft foundation treatment, seismic protection and shock absorption/isolation for full containment LNG storage tanks and solved the technical difficulties in mass concrete pouring and air raising of wide-span steel dome roofs which achieved digital and intelligent construction of full containment LNG storage tanks. We are in the leading position for developing automatic welding techniques for within the shells of full containment LNG storage tanks and developed an integrated technology system for the shop design, procurement, construction, commissioning and operation of full containment LNG storage tanks of various sizes ranging from 30,000 m3 to 270,000 m3. This technology system has been successfully used in the construction of eight 200,000 m3 LNG storage tanks for Tangshan LNG Project, 12 220,000 m3 LNG storage tanks for Tianjin LNG Phase II Project and Longkou LNG Project, and five 270,000 m3 full containment LNG storage tanks for Zhuhai LNG Phase II Project.
