COOEC has basically developed the engineering, construction, installation and commissioning technologies of deepwater floating production facilities. We established engineering design technologies systems of semi-submersible platforms, which includes but not limited to overall design of semi-submersible platforms, deepwater polyester mooring systems design and deepwater steel catenary riser (SCR) systems design. We also created the construction technology system of China’s first semi-submersible production, storage and offloading platform operating without the need of docking repair for 30 years, which accurately joined the sections of the world’s first 50,000 tons ultra-large offshore structures under large deformation and semi-floating conditions. We independently developed technologies for long-distance wet towing and connection of 50,000 tons semi-submersible platform and the ultra-deep water installation technology system of semi-submersible production, storage and offloading platforms, polyester mooring systems, SCR systems, umbilical systems, and subsea production systems under complex sea conditions . Our comprehensive commissioning technology  comprised by marine and submarine vertical system, multiple systems under multiple conditions above. Our company has made technological breakthroughs in the integrated design of deepwater FPSO topside/hull/subsea production systems, completed millimeter-level secondary landing of large FPSO units and finished high-precision integration of complex single-point mooring (SPM) systems and topsides and the installation of the SIT-type SPM system operating in the deepest water in China, forming leading technological capability for undertaking large deepwater FPSO EPCI projects.

Moreover, we resolve the key technologies of engineering, construction and installation of the tension-leg platforms broken and completed the basic design of China’s first two tension-leg platforms for the development of Liuhua 16-2/11-1 oilfields based on engineering background. Prospective studies were conducted for the engineering, construction and installation plan of SPAR platforms and the technologies for the engineering, construction, installation and commissioning of deepwater floating production systems are developed .
