Project: Zhuhai LNG Terminal Project Phase II

Project introduction: Zhuhai LNG Terminal Project Phase II is expanded upon the foundation of the phase I project, with an expansion volume of 3.5 million tons per year. After expansion, the Zhuhai LNG terminal will have a total capacity of 7 million tons per year. COOEC undertakes the EPCIC of 5 full-containment concrete LNG storage tanks with a capacity of 270,000 cubic meter each.

Project highlights: Zhuhai LNG Terminal Project Phase II is the first storage tank with the largest capacity in the world of 270,000 cubic meters, which is undertaken by COOEC and independently designed by CGTank^® core storage tank technology of CNOOC. The project is located in an area with a high seismic fortification level, currently making it one of the most complex geological conditions and the most challenging seismic design for liquefied natural gas storage tank projects in China.
