Project: Hong Kong Offshore LNG Terminal Project
Time of completion: June 2023
Project introduction: As the largest offshore steel foundation LNG terminal in the world, Hong Kong Offshore LNG Terminal Project located in southern Hong Kong water, with total weight of 38,000 tons. Composed of 6 individual mooring dolphin and 3 large breasting dolphin, the terminal is capable for berthing of Q-Max 270,000m3 FSRU/LNGC which is the largest size in global industry.
The scope of the project involves the engineering, authority permit obtaining, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning of the following key infrastructure facilities:
· One double berth jetty with mooring facilities for the FSRU vessel and LNG carriers.
· Two subsea gas pipelines (30” 45km and 20” 18km) connecting the Offshore LNG Terminal with the Black Point Power Station (BPPS) and the Lamma Power Station (LPS) respectively.
· Gas Receiving Stations (GRSs) located inside the BPPS.
Project highlights: COOEC provides turnkey service for all the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning under a completely different law and regulation system.
