On June 26, the Deepwater Oil and Gas Equipment Modern Industrial Chain Co-chain Action and Tianjin Marine Equipment Industry (Talent) Alliance Conference, organized by Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. (COOEC), was held in Tianjin Binhai New Area. The event systematically showcased the latest achievements in the localized research and development of key equipment for underwater production systems in China. It also witnessed the unveiling of China's first underwater production system equipment brand, "Techigh" and the signing of a co-construction agreement for the underwater production system equipment industrial chain, marking a significant breakthrough in the construction of China's underwater production system equipment.
Underwater production systems are the core and pivotal equipment for the efficient development of deepwater oil and gas resources. Comprising a series of devices such as X-mas trees, multi-functional manifolds, and control systems, they are capable of collecting and transporting subsea oil and gas, as well as transmitting various signals and production information in the harsh deep-sea environment.
As the leader of the underwater production system equipment sub-chain within the deepwater oil and gas equipment modern industrial chain, COOEC has focused on the integration of "engineering + products + services" to accelerate research on key core technologies and enhance the localization rate of core equipment and key components, achieving a major leap from individual underwater production equipment to the comprehensive engineering application of complete underwater production systems.
Currently, COOEC has successfully established multiple scientific research platforms, including underwater product incubation and manufacturing, R&D, manufacturing, and testing of underwater production facilities, and deep-sea environmental simulation testing. It has also set up R&D and manufacturing bases in Tianjin, Guangdong, Sichuan, and other locations. To date, COOEC has delivered over 280 sets of underwater production system equipment, covering more than 10 types, including 1,500-meter ultra-deepwater central manifolds. It has formed a series of independently developed equipment brands represented by "Techigh" and created an industrial chain that spans the entire process from product R&D and design, assembly and integration, testing and certification, to pilot application.
