COOEC has established a national base in Shenzhen for emergency maintenance and repair of deepwater pipelines and has an equipment system for emergency maintenance and repair of submarine pipelines, which can be used for emergency repair of pipelines with diameters ranging from 6 inches to 30 inches in 2,000m-deep waters. The Company has also constructed a warehouse of professional equipment and spare parts necessary for emergency maintenance and repair of submarine pipelines operating in deep waters. In addition, COOEC has a 300m saturation diving system that can meet the needs of emergency maintenance and repair of shallow water facilities at depths smaller than 300m. In Tianjin region, COOEC has more than 200 sets of equipment for five major types of operation, namely, pipeline trenching, cutting, paint/coating removal, inspection and search, and marine engineering and diving, including more than 40 sets of special equipment for emergency maintenance and repair of submarine pipelines. In addition, the Company has four sets of air diving equipment, which comply with IMCA standards and have a maximum operating depth of 50 meters.
