Transportation, Installation and Testing of Floating Units, Deepwater Structures and Subsea Equipment & Facilities


Service capability:

      Transportation, installation and testing of single-point (multiple-point) mooring systems;

Transportation, installation and testing of the mooring systems of FPSO and semi-submersible floating units;

      Disconnection, towing and tieback of FPSO and semi-submersible floating units;

      Transportation, installation and testing of deepwater manifolds, templates, expansion bends, mud pats, risers, protection sleeves, and other subsea structures;

      Transportation, installation and testing of steel/flexible jumpers;

      Transportation, installation and testing of suction piles/suction anchors;

      Transportation, installation and testing of subsea Christmas trees;

Equipment & facilities:

     10 conventional air diving apparatuses, three hot water suits, and two air diving systems complying with IMCA standards;

      17 observation class/work class/heavy-duty work class ROVs with operating depths ranging from 1,000m to 3,000m;

      Diving team: 38 air diving supervisors, 15 life support technicians and one diving physician certified by ADCI, 25 air diving supervisors and five diver medical technicians certified by China Diving & Salvage Contractors Association (CDSA), six welders of wet underwater welding, two welders of local dry underwater welding and 12 underwater non-destructive testing (NDT) operators certified by China Classification Society (CCS);

DNV-class 300m saturation diving system: accommodation area for 12 persons, automatically started hyperbaric evacuation system, three-person diving bell, maximum operating depth: 300m, equipped with self-propelled hyperbaric lifeboat;

      Flexible pipe laying equipment: one 3,000 T capstan, one 2,500 capstan, one 350 T cable reel diving device, and one 100 T tensioner;

SCT subsea chemical supply module, SFHM subsea testing module, and continuous tubing system for pretesting of submarine pipelines in deep waters.

1. Lingshui 17-2 Gas Field Subsea Equipment Installation Project

Location: South China Sea

Water depth: 1220-1560m

Scope of work:

      One 18” submarine export pipeline (90 km), one 18” SCR (3.5 km);

      Four 12” submarine pipelines (33.8 km), two 12” SCRs (7.2 km)

      Four 10” submarine pipelines (51.2 km), two 10” SCRs (6.5 km)

      Five 8” submarine pipelines (17.8 km);

      One 6” MEG SCR (3 km), three 4.5” MEG pipelines (19.3 km);

      Four manifolds (including suction anchors);

      25 PLETs, 28 jumpers;

2. Liuhua 16-2 Oilfield Offshore Installation Project

Location: South China Sea

Water depth: 420m

Time: 2018 -2021

Scope of work:

      One 150,000 T FPSO unit;

      One SIT deepwater single-point mooring system;

      Four single-layer submarine steel pipelines (length: about 70.6 km);

      Six submarine flexible pipelines (total length: about 10.4 km);

      Four submarine power cables (total length: about 112.3 km);

      Three umbilicals (total length: about 38.5 km);

      Three subsea production systems/26 subsea Christmas trees;

      SPDU, SDU, flying leaders, jumpers, etc.

3. Liuhua 29-1 Oilfield Offshore Installation Project

Location: South China Sea

Water depth: 750-1200m

Time: 2018 - 2020

Scope of work:

      Seven subsea Christmas trees;

      One 12” subsea production pipeline (27.1 km), one 6” submarine ethylene glycol pipeline (38.5 km);

      Four PLETs, four rigid jumper expansion bends;

      Two 7” (inner diameter) flexible production pipelines with goosenecks at both ends (3.3 km & 1.6 km);

      Five 7” (inner diameter) flexible jumpers with goosenecks at both ends;

      One 5.5” (inner diameter) ethylene glycol flexible jumper with goosenecks at both ends;

      One main umbilical (38.5 km), two auxiliary umbilicals (3.3 km & 1.6 km);

      One 200 T production manifold, one 175 T suction anchor;

      22 electrical flying leads, nine ethylene glycol flying leads, nine hydraulic flying leads, four optical flying leads;

      Pressure test of subsea control system and pipelines and other pre-commissioning activities.

Deepwater Pipeline Trenching and Treatment of Spans, Sand Slopes and Sand Ridges

Service capability:

      Trenching for submarine pipelines and cables, associated services;

      Conventional and professional seabed testing service;

      Pre-treatment/post-treatment, treatment of sand slopes and ridges;

Seabed treatment services, such as the placement of stone/concrete press blocks/sand bags.

Equipment & facilities:

      Subsea trenching equipment: one SMD VMP500 plough trencher, one SMD QT1600 ROV trencher, five jet trenchers, one automatic sludge discharge system;

      Air diving systems: 10 conventional air diving apparatuses, three hot water suits, and two air diving systems complying with IMCA standards;

Platform Upgrading and Life Extension

Service capability:

      Overall upgrading and life extension of large platforms;

      Replacement and repair of platform equipment and skids;

      Upgrading and life extension of FPSO equipment and facilities;

      Upgrading of onshore terminals;

      Intelligent modification of platforms.

Equipment & facilities: A complete set of construction/auxiliary equipment, including hydraulic breakers, tensioners, impact wrenches and grinders, variable-frequency power supply.

Time: 2015 - 2017

Scope of work:

      Removal of cables with a total length of 149.3 km and cable trays with a total length of 3.8 km;

      Removal of 177 skids, and installation of 184 new skids;

      Dismantling of process pipelines with a total length of 21.9 km, installation of new process pipelines with a total length of 9.9 km;

      Dismantling of structures with a total weight of 163 tons and installation of new structures with a total weight of 256 tons;

      Installation of 2,261 electrical devices;

      Installation of 30 risers;

      Trenches with a total length of 3.2 km;

      Eight expansion bends;

      Cleaning and pressure test of pipelines with a total length of 3.2 km;

      Drying and inertization of 85 units.

Operation, Maintenance and Removal of Subsea Facilities


Service capability:

      Underwater inspection/testing, maintenance and repair of mooring systems;

      Inspection/testing, maintenance and repair of subsea production systems (SPS);

      Inspection/testing, maintenance and repair of SURF subsea pipelines;

      Inspection/testing, maintenance and repair of structures below the splash zone;

      Removal, transportation, unloading and onshore disassembling of the modules and jackets of offshore platforms.

Equipment & facilities: Professional underwater inspection/testing equipment, including alternating current field measurement (ACFM), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), ultrasonic testing (UT), ultrasonic flooded member detection (FMD), and CP electric potential testing equipment.

Scope of work: Repair of two major cracks found at the elevation of -10m on the jacket legs of Lufeng 7-2 platform,NDT: weld crack detection x 95, crack detection by MPI x 5, crack detection by UT x 5,Repair of cracks: design, fabrication and installation of dry chamber, welding repair of cracks; dimensions of cracks: 3200mm x 81mm; dry chamber dimensions: Ø4000 x 5000mm;

2. Thailand Chevron Platform Modules Removal Project

Location: Gulf of Thailand

Water depth: 70m

Time: 2017

Scope of work: Removal and recovery, maritime transportation and unloading of four platform modules.

3. HAI YANG SHI YOU 111 FPSO Single-point Mooring (SPM) System Replacement Project

Location: South China Sea

Water depth: 110m

Time: 2014

Scope of work: Removal of the old mooring system,Transportation and installation of a new-bulit mooring system with nine suction piles.

Emergency Rescue and Repair


Service capability:

      Emergency rescue and repair of the jackets, mooring systems, submarine pipelines and cables, and subsea structures of offshore oil platforms.

Equipment & facilities: DPRS deepwater pipeline repair equipment: pipe lifting frames, guide frames, quick couplers, installation frames, diamond wire saws, paint/coating removal equipment, weld grinders, end-face grinders, straightness and ellipticity measuring devices, hydraulic pipe clamps for leak sealing, etc.

Location: South China Sea

Scope of work:Repair of the damaged submarine cable between Wenchang 19-1A and 14-3A platforms, including underwater cable cutting from ROV, sealing and recovery of the cut cable to the deck, installation of junction box, and re-laying of the repaired cable on the seabed.

      Protective removal and utilization of some process facilities of the platform and related process/utility pipelines, including pig receiver, GLCC + slug catcher skid, gauges, heat exchangers, chemical injection skid, and TUTA.

Installation, Operation and Maintenance of Offshore Wind Power Facilities


Service capability:

      Wind turbine foundation works: erection of anchor foundations, towing of floating units, installation of wind turbines, laying and tieback of mooring systems;

      Transportation and installation of towers, step-up substations, submarine cables and other equipment;

      Operation and maintenance of offshore wind power facilities: crack detection and repair, corrosion protection for wind turbine towers, jackets and individual piles, marine growth removal, regular maintenance, repair and modification of offshore step-up substations, inspection/testing, repair and replacement of mooring systems of floating wind turbines, survey, maintenance and repair of submarine cables.

Equipment & facilities:

      Laying and pulling of two submarine cables from the step-up substation to wind turbine platforms with a total length of 6 km;

      Laying, pulling and trenching of seven submarine cables between wind turbine platforms with a total length of 10 km;

      Installation of 15 submarine cable “barb” systems.

Scope of work:

Fabrication and installation of the steel structures of step-up substations

Corrosion protection, assembly and coating of the steel structures of step-up substations;

Procurement of auxiliary equipment and materials including diesel generators, power distribution boxes, converter cabinets, distribution panels, communication systems, lightning systems, grounding and lightning protection devices, power cables, hangers and supports, various seals, hoists, heating, ventilation, fire protection, water supply and drainage systems and equipment;
