Smooth Commencement of Canada LNG Project

On November 28, Canada LNG Project officially commenced at the site in Qingdao of Construction Division. After obtaining the approval of Party A’s Owner, Party A’s Owner, General Contractor and COOEC representatives jointly started the project, and the first steel plate of Canada LNG Project was cut by ignition.

Canada LNG Project is located at Kitimat, BC, Canada. The Party A of this project is the LNGG Company composed of five companies including Shell, CNPC and other companies, the General Contractor is JFJV Company (JGC Fluor BC LNG Joint Venture) composed of JGC Corporation and Fluor Corporation. COOEC undertook the construction including 34 modules of 2 columns of phase I and another 1 common kernel module, totally 35 modules with gross weight of 178,830 tons. The construction period of the contract is expected to end on September 30, 2022.

The company representatives expressed that, Canada LNG Project is a project with significance undertaken by COOEC and is a key project of COOEC. The Company will adhere to the guiding ideas of “quality-oriented, progress-oriented, safety is life”, strive together in good faith, cooperate closely and organize carefully, so as to ensure the quality and control the progress unswervingly, build international excellent project with top quality, service and technology.
